Kansas great plain dough is rolled out to a thin layer

Organic cocoa nibs pressed into the dough

Mini semi-sweet baking chips pressed into the dough

Turbinado sugar added

Dutch-process black cocoa powder added

Dough rolled up and formed into the round bagel shape

Each bagel is water boiled

Lite coating of white egg wash

Turbinado sugar sprinkle

Dutch-process black cocoa powder topping

There are no two alike

Slice in half or cut into bagel chip pieces

Heat in oven without slicing to give a firmer crust and steamy interior crumb

Individually wrapped bagels are packed in a fitted bag in units of six.

Freeze and then remove as needed.

Reseal with the wire tie.
